BR Bulbs
BR (bulged reflector) bulbs have a soft, wide beam and are the standard lamp for recessed cans in hallways, lobbies, dining rooms, hotel rooms and apartments. Listed options include Hyperikon BR20, BR30 and BR40 bulbs in several color temperatures.
BR20, BR30 and BR40
BR20 bulbs fit small cans and fixtures, BR30 fits the most common recessed cans, and BR40 suits larger cans and higher ceilings where more light is needed. Check the size currently in your fixtures before ordering in bulk.
Bulbs or new downlights?
Screwing an LED BR bulb into an existing can is the fastest upgrade and needs no rewiring. If the can trims are worn or you want a uniform finished look across a property, integrated LED downlights may be the better long-term choice.
